And We’re Back

Half the family is here at home (finally), mom and brother staying to watch the playoffs. All three of Nova 2’s games (that’s my brother’s team) were lost, so they’re as far from the finals as you can get. But Nova 1 made it, and they’re staying to watch it.

I met Jake, Mitch, and the rest of Bantam Nova 1 today. We screwed around with a massage chair (“Unplug it!” “No way! I’m still using it.” “Do it!” *unplug* “Dude, you wasted my dollar!” *replug* “It’s not working, is it?” “No.”), air horn (got in trouble for this… some kid blasted it into another team’s player’s ear. Nice going…), and just talked and stuff. Cole beat the one of the arcade games there, Police Trainer, and put up the funnies highscore ever : COLE SEXY. He was the overall #1, by the way. Ahhhhhh; good times.

Turns out the pool was busted over at the Sleep Inn Express, the Wingate’s looked like it was made for all of 3 people, and everyone wished they were staying at the Best Western. But at the Wingate, Midget Nova 1 (the level my brother plays at) rented the conference room, got themselves wall projector, and hooked up a PS2. I wanted to stay, but the Waffle House won out, and I ate some chocolate chip-strewn waffles. And bacon, hot chocolate, whipped cream (technically part of the hot chocolate, but there was enough to be put on a plate and served), and some toast. Half the team was there. It was cool.
