Livelli vs Hayes, now available on YouTube!
Colin finally put it up onto YouTube, after me failing to do so (I have no account; give me a break, Adam!) several times. I am fully aware that it’s horrible quality, mostly due to the fact that it was made with a cell phone, converted from .3gp to .mp4, the video was cut, the sound sped up, and people (including me, yay 6th period) cheering. It’s up, and that’s what’s important.
Also, I realize Mark (Infinite Solutions, the last video I posted) is not on good terms with the web. However, I don’t see how you can fake that much content in that kind of interface. One thing I have to say is that it’s not an edited video. If Google TV is not real, the page is, even if only on his harddrive. Just wanted to get that out.

Totally Linux
I’m feeling penguin-ish today. Might be something to do with watching Happy Feet a few days ago. Don’t laugh, it was actually pretty good. Anyway, the best penguin-based idea I have for now is Linux (surprise surprise).

Great book. Got it a while ago, but only now reading it. 191 pages chocked full of informative command-line info. grep, touch, shutdown -k (It’s fun to do this one), sleep, bzip2, etc. All very well-described and with examples. Then again, most O’Reilly books are like that.

The Beryl project, a fork of Compiz, is an effort to create OpenGL/XGL-enhanced desktops. I want to record mine, but can’t find any screen recorders up for (free) grabs. If you do, please post a link! Anyway…
Just cool :)
