Don’t jump to concussions!
Finally, school is out! More sleep, less nagging, and even less rushed mornings. Yays.
Anyway, I was browsing Digg when I came across this article. After reading the entire thing (not that long), I started browsing the comments and found one individual who really did his homework. Way to debunk this entire thing: kudos!
I can’t stand PrisonPlanet.com. They make completely unreasonable assumptions. This article was based on their article, ” Blair Calls For Chinese Style Net Controls In the UK” which was based on a Telegraph.co.uk article which makes no mention of “chinese style net controls”. Actually, it makes no mention of any net controls. Both of these articles, claiming that Blair wants to completely censor the Internet, are based on the following quote from Blair; “As the technology blurs the distinction between papers and television, it becomes increasingly irrational to have different systems of accountability based on technology that no longer can be differentiated in the old way.” Blair is calling for a new form of accountability for the media, basically, making sure that the “media” is not lying to us. He does not say that the media should be accountable to the government. He’s not calling for control over, or censorship of the media.
And regardless, he only has 8 days left in office to take over the Internets.
Also, the last line is hilarious.

Wii Me!
Yeah, so, I finally got the $250 (plus tax) to get a Wii. It’s all going down Monday after school. The VC (that’s the Virtual Console) is going to be great; Ian can finally have his copy of Ocarina of Time back. Plus, the list of VC games keeps getting longer, almost weekly.
Another thing that’s really great:

I mean, come on! Who doesn’t love Metal Slug? It was/is an arcade game (you know, next to Time Crisis, 1942 and Area 51), and I personally have spent at least $10 (in quarters) on it. It’s addicting. So, not only are they releasing the arcade versions (1-5 and X), but also the never-available-in-the-US Metal Slug 6. Awesome.
So, you can play it five ways:
- Wiimote only
- Wiimote tilting (still no Nunchuck)
- Nunchuck only
- Wiimote + Nunchuck
- “Arcade” (Wiimote is the stick, Nunchuck is all the buttons)
That’s just a great way to prove it’s been specially designed for the Wii.

LAST DAY!
Finally! Thought it would never be over! Now, it is finally…
~~The Last Day o’ School~~
Otherwise known as the first day of summer. Now, a few things to add today.
Mike, one of my friends, has recently (as have I) been starting to play AA* America’s Army a lot more. To the point of obession. I’d like it known that he is not, at this point, one to enjoy being played with. According to my older brother, he manages to earn an honor 31 (starting at 10, running from 0 to 100) and critisized a 49 or so honor player for not doing one little thing. Please do not confuse that statement that he didn’t do anything. Instead, the player neglected to do one thing. milomilo155 is also prone to blaming kills on skill, deaths on luck. BEWARE.
